  As the lucky winner of the Yeats Society of NYC trip to WB Yeats
Winter School in Sligo -I had the time of my life!  The WB Yeats Winter
School
is designed as an interlude, for students of WB Yeats to learn more
about the poet and his poetry against the backdrop of Yeats
  Country—from Benbulben to Knocknarea—The source of his inspiration.
The
aim of the weekend is to provide a basis for reading, exploring,
discussing and thinking about WB Yeats’s greatest achievements, in the
place where it all began. Poet Moya Cannon and Professor Margaret
Harper, Limerick University, shared their scholarly research, insights
and experience of WB Yeats with the group.
